Course Overview
This five-day course is for system architects and administrators working with VMware vSphere. It provides a detailed understanding of troubleshooting within vSphere environments. Participants will learn structured approaches and methodologies for diagnosing and solving configuration and operational problems. The course covers the use of command-line tools, interpreting log files, and utilizing VMware Skyline™ for proactive support. Key topics include troubleshooting virtual networking, storage issues, vSphere clusters, virtual machines, and problems with vCenter Server and ESXi hosts. Prerequisites include completing specific VMware courses and having hands-on experience with tasks such as installing and configuring ESXi and vCenter Server, managing switches, and performing virtual machine migrations. By the end of the course, participants will be well-equipped to handle complex troubleshooting scenarios in vSphere environments.
